In a press release dated October 24, 2006 Apogee Search, the largest pure play Search Engine Marketing firm in the Southwest, announced it’s decision to support the Search Engine Marketing Professional Organization (SEMPO). 

SEMPO, founded in 2002, was created to educate and foster awareness of Search Engine Marketing and its role in marketing. Search engine giants such as Yahoo and Google are key sponsors of SEMPO!
