In 2000 I quit my job in the Tradeshow Industry to be home with my son. I was bored and wanted to make my own money so I started by working for several work at home companies while continuing to figure out what I wanted to do. I soon ended up with an own online pet store with my own line of private label pet products < bad decision >.

After a year I realized how much I hated dealing with customer complaints and shipping problems. And decided to make it an affiliate/content site. That was the end of that and the start of many affiliate sites in various niches.

I love WORDPRESS!. Especially Thesis for WordPress.

To date I have about 10 sites – some live, some in the works, some planned & many re-thought. I also do freelance writing, link development etc. I write /tweet about consumer safety, health news and injury prevention at The Safety Report / InjuryBoard.

One of the things I cherish most are the great friends that I have made through the business and have met in person at Webmaster conferences.

On a Personal Note:

I’m a geek. And a Procrastinator. But oddly a Workaholic and Control Freak. I have an insane addiction to books, fonts, magazines, sharpies and Starbucks. I’m divorced, have three kids ages 20, 18 and 11. And custody of my 4-year-old nephew.

I need a 12-step program to help me with my book addiction that is grossly out of control. My Kindle Touch is helping with the book clutter but not the book buying ;) In the meantime feel free to send me your book suggestions.
