Big Thanks!

I owe a **big** huge thank you to Gerae of Lindsey Web Design for her help AND patience over the past few weeks.
Recently, I redesigned my big site that I have been procrastinating for months. Being that I am technology challenged, she helped me with problems on the site, redesigned the message boards to match the template and put up with me and all my questions.
If you need a template, web design or business logo she’s the girl to go too. Just don’t tell her I sent you, she might think you are a nag too ;)
Thanks, Gerae for all your help!
Space, I need Some Space
I have several blogs/product blogs. When aligning the image to the left, the text is always smashed up against the image. Being technically challenged, I was banging my head on the desk trying to figure out how to get a small gap of space between the text and the image. I finally found some code to help! I thought I would share incase anyone else is frustrated with this same problem.
The code is this: .photo {padding: 3px 15px 3px 0;}
How to apply the code: After inserting the CSS code to your style.css, next you need to apply this style to your images inside the post. You can do that easily by adding these two lines of codes inside your [img tag "align="left" class="photo"] as shown below:
[img src=’/images/image.jpg’ align=’left’ class=’photo’/]
Easy fix, for people that are technically challenged like myself. I can work around a template/css stylesheet but build it from scratch, not so much. They don’t call me the Template Queen for nothing ;) Unlike my good friend the WordPress Queen, whom masters WordPress, writes her own scripts and tons of other cool stuff ! I want to be just like her when I grow up!
Would you like some Coffee with your Laptop?
It has been hectic around here to say the very least.
It started last week when I leaned over my laptop to grab my cell phone to check a text message and I flung coffee all over it. I had a complete meltdown as my Husband stood there staring, not sure what to do, as coffee was flying all over the sofa, carpet and side table.
I immediately tried to do damage control. I was *lucky* the only damage was to the keyboard, the computer survived the spill. I had already backed everything up (thank god, because I am not always good with that). I went to the store the next day to buy a wireless keyboard, brought home the wrong one. Went back and got the right one, only it didn’t freaking work right. The keys kept sticking and I was beyond frustrated at this point.
Themes Press
I love wordpress themes! I tend to use them on this blog and various other blogs, especially my non-work, made for venting blog ;)
For only $10 Themes Press allows you to easily convert HTML and CSS based designs into a WordPress blog theme, allowing you full control of the look of your blog without having to know or bother with PHP. Being that I am technically challenged this sounds perfect!
Best of all, generated themes are Widget ready! Theme Press is definitely on my list of things to try out, for only $10 it’s worth it.
If you would rather stick to Free, there is always:
