Back to Plan B

I have been playing catch up this past week after being sick last week.

For the past few months, longer even, I have been feeling like I am spinning my wheels. Working on too many things and really nothing at all - at the same time. For the first time in a long time I have narrowed down my focus, cleaned up my to-do-list and I now have a workable schedule/plan.

After veering off path it seems I am going back to my original plan after all. The biggest change is no more new sites, no challenges - nothing of the sort, for now. Instead, I am going back to work on the projects that need some TLC desperately.

I take that back, there are three new sites I am going to put up but they are for a specific purpose. I am finally taking all my sites in one niche and pulling them together to make them a “network.” I think this way of doing things is my best bet at this point. The sites are in a specific niche with varying topics in that niche. Overall there will be 11 sites.

Then I have 25+ various blogs/sites that I will be working on - all which are live. Some doing well, some stagnant but showing potential. Updating, maintaining and going to the next level are on the list of chores to get these sites where I want them to be. So in all, right now, I have 35 sites/blogs I will be working with. One of them is a monster of a site that needs to be fully updated and I keep procrastinating it away…

And of course along with working on these sites I have my paid projects that come first. This is where the good money is right now. In fact, one of my main projects has increased and it has been great. I don’t know how long it will stay increased, so I am loving the $$ while it lasts ;) And on top of it all, I have my Husband’s offline business that I run and that is set to increase in the next few weeks.

I know it sounds like a lot but it is so much more clear to me right now and doable compared to the way I have been working. I no longer plan to build many sites, making few dollars that equal big bucks on topics that bore me and make me want to poke my eyes out. With these 35+ sites I still have plenty of variety and profit potential.

Whew, so here is my new plan. This past week I took some time to make detailed lists and notes for each site. This is the most organized I have been in a loooong time. Wish me luck.

I’ll be very interested to hear how that turns out!
